When you sign up for the Getnet Developer Marketplace on your own, a new organization is automatically created for you. If you join because you have received an invitation via email, you join the organization of the person who invited you.

How do I create a new organization?

In order to join an existing organization, you must be invited. If you know of an existing organization you would like to join, contact the person responsible for that organization directly and they can send an invitation to your email address.

Only organization owners can invite other users to join. If you are not the owner of the organization, ask the owner to do this.

All users must belong to at least 1 organization, so you cannot delete the last organization you belong to. In addition, you can only delete an organization if you are its owner.

When you complete the deletion process, your organization is deactivated and Getnet administrators will perform a review before deleting it. They may contact you to confirm that the action was intentional.

To switch between organizations, make sure you are signed in. There is a drop-down menu on the top right of the screen where you can select the organization you want to switch to. You must belong to at least 2 organizations in order to be able to switch between them.

Yes. When using the Checkout API, you can <a href="">securely store your customer's payment details</a> when they make a payment. The next time the customer pays for an order, you can use their stored payment details.

Can I store the customer's payment details so they do not need to re-enter them if they come back later to pay for another order?

The tokenization functionality is used to encode your customers’ sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, before sending a payment request to Getnet. The tokenized information can then be used as the payment method for your customers when creating payments, without having to include the raw and unprotected payment card details in the transaction.

Why would I use the Checkout API’s tokenization functionality?

A combined payment is when a customer pays for their order using more than one payment method, for example with a combination of 2 different credit cards or with a credit card and a gift card. This feature is only available in certain countries.

What is a combined payment?

The purpose of the 3DS feature is to ensure that the customer making the online payment is the correct owner of the payment card. If it is activated, the customer is redirected during the payment operation to their card provider’s site to authenticate themselves.

A payment dispute arises when a customer complains about a payment transaction and wants it voided. You can also request an evaluation of a payment dispute based on the new evidence that you have provided or accept a dispute if the customer’s complaint is valid.

Yes. For payment links created through the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/" target="_blank">Merchant Portal</a>, you do not need to integrate with any API. How do I create and edit a payment link?

Payment links cannot be deleted. Instead, a link can be deactivated, which means that a customer can no longer use it to pay for their order. Payment links can be deactivated in the <a href="https://www.globalgetnet.com/">Merchant Portal</a>&nbsp;or by <a href="/site/customapi/smps/en_GB/pagenotfound">using the Payment Link API</a>.

 
Payment links are automatically deactivated when their expiry date is reached, or the configured number of orders (payments) have been made.

Where do I put my username and password when sending a transaction?

Double-check the&nbsp;merchant-account-id&nbsp;value you are using. In

A network token is a token between a merchant and a card network (such as VISA or Mastercard) that represents a customer’s tokenized Primary Account Number (PAN). It can be used in payment transaction requests instead of sendi&nbsp;ng sensitive card information over a payment network. It is also securer to store a network token than raw or otherwise tokenized card information.

What is a network token?

Network tokens can be used with a third-party payment management system instead of a customer’s card PAN. Cryptograms cannot be used with a third-party payment management system and can only be used with other PagoNxt APIs, such as the <a href="/site/customapi/smps/en_GB/pagenotfound">Checkout API</a>.

Can I use a network token and cryptogram received from the Network Token API with a third-party payment management system?

Yes, there is a limit of 99 network tokens per card per merchant. If this limit is exceeded, your tokenization requests may fail. You can contact <a href="?open=contact_form">Getnet</a> to delete any network tokens and go below the limit.
